It seems it did, guess people more interested on this gen than the results of last gen, tis a good sign really to look forwards.
In terms of prediction tho... I really don't think the gen could come close to last gen just because of how much of a boost the Wii gave last gen compared to the deficit that the Wii-u is bringing to this one. Would say optimistic prediction would be in the 200m region split 100m ps4, 80m X1, 20m Wii-U and 18 Ouya 2's.
Main thing that's going to mess up this gen tho is if Nintendo drop a new console at E3 will it technically be Gen 9... tis a shame they didn't leave the name NX until the system after next since it could stand for Nintendo X (or 10) to clearly state it was a 10th gen system.
