Since a lot of people are talking about this, you need to look at this in a few different ways than just looking at it in black and white.
Ok. Sony isnt going to be at Gamescom? Well that means they could have a HUGE E3 where they reveal everything where as MSFT will be saving things for Gamescom. That could also mean MSFT has more stuff than they could fit in at e3 as well, but if im correct Sony has a longer conference than Sony so that shouldnt matter.
Also the Paris event is October 27th right? The day that Halo 5 releases. COuld be a strategic strategy to take some of the light away from Halo 5
