I guessed you missed CES 2015? Worlds thinnest 4K TV, new phones, crazy new Tablet that is truly iPad killer, and fantastic projector that only needs to be 5 inches from the wall.

the iPad is already dying... and I expect this new sony tablet is android... so you can forget it, it will be lost on the ocean of other better/cheaper alternatives.

the projector is very nice but very very niche.

thinnest 4k tv? great... they are all very thin already.

new phones? no comment other than pointless, thats a dead end for them.

I think you missed the point of my comment, the point is that Sony is still innovating. You pointed out the point in the thread being that the innovation is part of whats losing them money and that the old Sony guys don't really know what they're talking about.

Also the Z4 tablet has a chance in the business world, a keyboard compatible large long lasting waterproof tablet with full Microsoft Office support is highly appealling... if anyone knows about it. It's insanely thin and pretty, in my opinion easily the best Tablet on the market when it comes out. I doubt it'll be a huge success but the quality mark gets a massive tick.
