Publishers will view this as an anomaly, rather than actual demand that should be pursued further. That was my point. While gamers will look at it as proof for the viability of 3D platformers, publishers will shrug it off as a one-off thing.

You're ignoring the upcoming Trine 3 and Splatoon (singleplayer) though. There's also the R & C reboot coming up and Sly might get a new game to tie in with his movie. Oh and Tearaway.
