But without the factual hard data it makes it fair to assume all PC gamers pirate though right?, I mean if the answer is yes then anyone should be able to if not every answer be to any PC games selling "it's because of torrents".

I find the claim that they sold more due to torrents is flat out bait, especially when it comes from someone who isn't even invested in the camp that's talking about the sales.

and to present the number of steam users who have played the game as hard sales data is disingenious and deceitful. The whole point of the thread is some sort of vague response that kinda confirms why the stigma exists (PC games sell well, but sell a ton at very low costs).
