So you'd rather those consoles just get discontinued instantly and people lose access to buying affordable consoles? Lose access to what are some of the greatest games libraries of all time?

No, what's unfair is not letting people buy what they want to buy.


Agreed. as someone who grew up being a leter adopter of the NES, SNES, N64 and PS1 I am happy for people with less being able to come in late and enjoy a massive library of games for dirt cheap.

Also, I have never bought a home console used, rare thing I absolutely have to buy new.
