You should have picked it up. I also love old fashioned classic JRPGs and do not like action RPGs but the original Xenoblade is the best game I played in the last 10 years. It plays like a classic JRPG with tons of perfectly written story and ATB set to active and is in no way comparable to action RPGs or the Tales of series.

The only difference is that there are some quick time events during battle and the position of your character relative to the enemy is important to some moves.

Maybe some time if I can find it for cheap.

Right now I feel more comfortable with shorter games that don't require so much time.
