He's spanish (me too), so it's understandable to certain point. In spanish, we include a negation word along with the "nothing". "No hay nada" = "There isn't nothing". I know, it's weird, but it is what it is xDDD So, there is some times when spanish people make the mistake you've seen in that tweet when they write english.

I guess Spanish people also sometimes don't capitalize names of languages and nationalities when they write English. :p

Well, they aren't capitalized in Castilian. But he capitalized the pronoun "I" whose Spanish counterpart isn't so his story doesn't add up :P
