Which game will sell better, Splatoon or Xenoblade Chronicles X?

Splatoon or Xenoblade Chronicles X are two of the biggest and most hyped games for the WiiU. Which one will sell better? Will the colourful and quirky Splatoon triunph over the JRPG, or will the giant open world of Xenoblade Chronicles X be to much for the shooter to take? Mechas vs Squids, in the battle of the century!

 

 

EDIT: By June 2015, Splatoon has already sold more than one million. Will Xenoblade Chronicles X manage to catch up when it reeases in the west?

EDIT 2: Bu November 2017, Splatoon has sold over 4m units whereas Xenoblade X has yet to reach a million in retail. In light of these results, the crown must go to Splatoon.  Congratulations to the squids!
