Honestly, if Bravely came onto any other platform, it would likely be mobile. The whole Norende sidequest seemed like something straight out of a mobile civ-simulator. That, and the fact the game relied more on an attractive artstyle than actually trying to look impressive graphically, makes me think the frachise would probably be aimed at that crowd over one that expects a substantial technical improvement.
Not that I'd want that, mind; mobile gaming isn't something that even remotely appeals to me.
OT: Was hoping Bravely would do better, I wonder what the Japanese audience thought of the last few chapters of the first game. My friend and I got Default at the same time, and now she has zero interest in the sequel. I'll probably get it...though I really hope they skip the boss gauntlet this time around.
