"NX, Dedicated Game Platform", for me it looks like a NX is a game platform that includes more than one gaming device (console), probably handheld and home console.
Before, every Nintendo handheld and home consoles were completely separate (except little GameCube), this time they will have very strong integration, like same platform with two types of hardware, Nintendo already spoke about that, something similar like iPhone and iPad.
