PD SMB Edition which releases today(Golden week holidays of Japan),ended up with 167p at comg pre-orders,the first installment released in the second week of december and sold 545k FW in Japan,while it had ended up with 843p!
There is a big difference between them,PD SMB Edition actually is a mario game and of course it has a far bigger ratio than the first game,mario lowest standard is 1:1000 but it usually has 1:1500(Like Super mario 3D wolrd,107k FW(70P*1500=105k)and it's capable for more sometimes,most resent paradigm is mario party 10 which didn't even charted but sold 50k FW...
As for 3DS,its sales in the same time frame(forth week) was at 42k,up from the 33k of the third week,3DS in this year,in the slow april was up compare to the last year in april's first week(24k->27K),and up in the second week too,from 20k to 22k,as for the third week we will find out very later today(last year was at 33k)!It was also up regarding 2014 in the fifth week of March,which normaly is the first week of april,31k->34k...
So what do you think?PREDICT!
My prediction was at 238k-338k+ with 200k as the lowest point,so I'll take the average of these three numbers...259k,I would go with 200k but not,I would do it only to avoid the attack by some ''well-wishers'' in case of a failed prediction but not,I'll dare to say what I believe even if I'll eat crow eventually...
About 3DS flat yoy or have the half of the boost that the first game gave to 3DS(+56k->+28k)so 42k-70k,I'l take the average,i.e 56K...I' might revise that when I'll be informed for aprils third week numbers!UPD:So I revise it because of the third week sales size and yoy change force me to do it,32k-60k=46k
Sometimes I like to risk,I have fairly many successes so a failure won't hurt me but even if without these successes,the failure wouldn't matter,I would just have trouble with the negative nancies!:P
