THough back to the point, what should he do next? Some of the popular ideas I've seen is Sony Japan Hiring or Microsoft giving him his own studio.
Though he could follow in the foot steps of other popular Developers like Cliff Bleszinski and use his iconic status to start his own studio and be an independent developer. This won't stop him from seeking out publishers but it will give him complete freedom in hios projects which may be good for him and his creative mind.
What do you all think, what should he do? And what really happened between Kojima and Konami.

Kojima's been wanting to be done with Metal Gear for a long time, and I imagine that Konami wanted him laser-focused on Metal Gear.
I hope he hires on with another big company, because so far, the track record for big-name developers going independent doesn't exactly inspire confidence.
