Ka-pi96 said: Well they do have PES, even though that is being absolutely demolished by FIFA in sales... But yeah, if ever there were a video game company dependant on one man it was Konami with Kojima. Without him they may be in serious trouble. |
Konami lost interest in PES sometime in the past. Usually FIFA and PES were very close on reputation, and even the sales gap with FIFA wasn't terrible .

Best selling PES on:
Sometime around 2010 Konami started selling way less than FIFA. And now that people complain about FIFA and EA Sports becoming complacent and just re-skinning prior titles, PES could really make a comeback, Mortak Kombat 9 style.
Konami could have pushed PES on Nintendo consoles , pushed more its presence on handhelds, they could have pushed PES bundles with PlayStation (to contrast to the FIFA Xbox bundles), they could make a PES on the WiiU where there's no competition (PES sold well on Nintendo, why just ignore it?)... If PESdoesn't make a comeback this gen, it will be to late for the franchise.
