For it's time it was alright and set a lot of series standards, but compared to the Mario Kart's of today it's pure garbage!
It's pretty boring being just a big featureless circle with nothing on it... nothing except those god damn trains from hell! This track was the bane of my existence when I first started playing this game, and those troll trains constantly deciding to randomly screw me alone over whether I was in the lead or in last are to blame! Made getting that already difficult 3 Star Ranking so tedious, had to restart the leaf cup so many times! The final nail in the coffin was that one time I was in first place on the final lap with triple bananas and a mushroom in reserve (didn't know how to shroom dodge yet but I'd atleast be able to get back up to speed with it), and then the troll train came... Everyone was right behind me so I could not afford to stop, thus I dropped all my bananas and attempted to shroom boost my way through. Needless to say I didn't make it, instead was knocked into the train tracks between the guard rails and then was hit by the train again. I turned off the game after that lol.
