TBH Sengoku basara is a better franhicse than Samurai warriors.
It plays better has more interesting characters designs and over the top gameplay.
Samurai Warriors 4 (on ps4) is a HUGE step up from the ps3 games
But sengoku basara 4 is also coming to the ps4( noo western release yet)
I would advice play sengoku basara first.
