Wasn't that the point? It wasn't a full price game.
A 14 roster($19.99) constantly expanding Smash Bros game at launch would have done wonders for Wii U. Just saying.... I like my experiences whole but I think multiplayer games are a bit different (there being no story or cohesive world) and I actually wouldn't mind a gradual rollout if the next smash launch on day one for the NX. With a ($49.99) season package for the rest of the games life.
