I have this little GPU for more than 2 years now: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650ti OC:
I'm playing GTA V on medium settings because this GPU has 1 gig of ram and higher settings require more, but I get around 70 frames per second at all times and the game looks great bichis.
My other specs are Intel i5-4570, 8 gig of ram, Crucial SSD MX100 256 gig and stuff.
My point is that you don't need 2000 usd rig to play modern gaems.
Deus Ex (2000) - a game that pushes the boundaries of what the video game medium is capable of to a degree unmatched to this very day.
