Wait B is items? I thought Z was items and B was drift & brake?

Anyway does the cross pad on the Wii Remote function as the brake when your drifting? You can easily reach the the bottom control pad while holding the accelerate and drift button. 

On the remote plus, 1 is drifting, 2 is accelerate and B is your items, just a bit confused att.
