Will a price drop make a difference though in the grand scheme of things. You'd think the people who want one, have one. And the ones that don't are likely waiting for Zelda and other AAA titles (are there any coming out?) and those would likely pay the current asking rate of a Wii U when the time comes.
I don't think knocking £50 or $50 off the price will make much difference apart from a sharp spike in sales that may last a few weeks at best.
