Captain America is technically (in this universe) the original, timeline wise. Human Torch should be the original, maybe he was he was at that Expo after all. Okay, so I get what you say and it's true for those who don't know the comics, having Pym do it would have been odd as he would be new. Yet, Ultron and Pym have a very close relationship in the comics, Pym's guilt over Ultron's creation is a huge part of Pym's character. Without that, Pym in the films will not be the same. They could have easily introduced him as the creator of the robots and there helping Stark or something.

But hey, I'm talking to RDJ himself so... none of that would happen. Did anyone see the question to RDJ in that press conference by the German journalist? about his trailer being longer than everyone elses? That was funny.

indeed lol.  Look I think this is a product of Iron Man's increased popularity.  They wanted to hit fans where it hurt and I am actually excited about how this will effect my character in the movies ahead.  Tony can deal with that same guilt in a different way.  That way we get the same theme but in a new light and with a new angle to keep things fresh instead of being a comic book retread.
