I suppose it's a coincidence... I didn't join VG because I'm a Nintendo fan. I was a lurker some time, then I joined because I liked how the mods moderated, the discussions and because I want to improve my English very bad lol. In addition, you would be surprised how much I was bullied because of me being a Nintendo fan in other forums (coincidence, I guess). I suppose I always chose wrong, so, I ended here ;)
