You're saying "this is not COD" as if that they've been showing is better. It's worse. It looks worse than COD. COD isn't even bad - people are just tired of it. All this game has going for it is that is has a neat gimmick, because everything else they've shown about the game is otherwise antiquated and hilariously embarassing for a 2015 $60 shooter.
It doesn't matter what they said. You show, don't tell. Right now, they've said and have shown nothing to confirm that there would be any more than one online mode playble at launch. That's pathetic. A single player campaign isn't a mode, no matter what they call it. It's a campain. It's just as insignificant as talking about the single player in COD or Battlefield. That just leaves one local and one online mode at launch. That's pathetic. That's F2P quality. Being a new IP isn't an excuse. Titanfall was consider extremely bare in content at launch, and it's launch features blow this game out of the water. Never making a shooter isn't an excuse either. It's not "enough." You don't get to charge $60 for an experiment and not get criticized for it.
