it's a little different with Marvel. Everyone is scared of Hulk even Banner. Tony Stark is a normal human and everything is in the light with him. What's to fear? Thor has only been on Earth a couple times and left. He doesn't live on Earth like Supes and he's not nearly as powerful in the movies. Hawkeye and Widow are agents and again pretty normal humans for a governing body. Then of course there's Cap who is an American icon and everyone knows him as well as the fact that he is not crazy powerful. |
Wouldn't the existence of beings like Thor who can travel to Earth shake the whole planet? It absolutely would. There are also plenty of metahumans in the MCU but not once have we seen the general public's reaction to what's happening with the superheroes. And, thinking about it, it makes sense that these serious issues aren't talked about in the MCU - the movies are very kid-friendly.
