X1 and PS4 sales are so close in the US and UK that I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the generation the X1 will sell slightly more than the PS4.
On the other hand PS4 seems to be riding some sort of avalanche effect, so any advantage they have and gain can be maximized further on.
I think after the release of Halo 5 we can know for sure if X1 can remain competitive in the US or continue to decline in sales.
