Longest total time PLAYED in one game?

The game I have played the longest is the Original EverQuest.

I have played the game for the past 16 years (with a few breaks here and there) and in that time on just ONE CHARACTER...I have actually PLAYED over a years worth of time!

375 Days, 7 Hours, 16 minutes on my Main Character alone to be exact. 

It's slightly shocking that one game has held such high appeal to me for so long after such heavy game time. 

Well, I'm not exactly sure. The game doesn't keep a record since everytime you restart it, the time goes back to 0 hours played.

But it is Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn on the Wii. A normal playthrough will average you about 20 hours. I've restarted and played the game over the last 7 years more than 50 times by now I'm sure.

So if you do the math, we are looking at about 1000+ hours on one Fire Emblem game.
