How will the console have local multiplayer and better graphics if it is the same game? And if the graphics are just upscale... That is hardly what anyone would consider to be "better graphics" unless you are saying that the console will have better lighting and etc but then Nintendo would be losing money because they would have to optomize each game in order to take that advantage so if they are giving out two games for free... That is a business disaster...

I'm not understanding how the game wouldn't have local multiplayer, u put the game in the console, hook up a few controllers and viola u play the game with other people......

Wouldn't it essentially be like PC games which allow multiple graphic settings? Do PC devs lose money by doing this?

Local Multiplayer = having the console render the game multiple times as well as rendering loads more assets... Why do u think that when you have Mario Kart 8 in 3-4 players for example, the game runs at 30 fps? Or Hyrule Warriors drops below 20fps when playing local Coop? And etc

The luxuary of PC games is that PCs can bruteforce it so the developers don't have to spend much time optomizing it cause PCs have a wide range of hardware while consoles have only a single hardware that will never get improved until the next generation so games on consoles need to be optomized so consoles can't really bruteforce it...

Edit: Oh and PC devs do lose money... But they gain it back from the sales... Where as if you get both games for the price of one, Nintendo won't be gaining that money back because the console version will be free...
