I'm glad they took a bit of time to make her a bit different, give her her own trophy, her own Palutena's Guidance, her own ending animation in classic mode. And absolutely nothing was lost in exchange for this stuff. |
You can't play Lucina the way you play Marth that's why she became her own character, the balance changes on her resulted in a different approach of play being needed, Marth is strategic and needs to space well while Lucina has to be hyper aggressive and rush an opponent, these are two vastly different styles of play. This is what happened with other characters like Dr. Mario and Dark Pitt as well, they're not clones they're alternative styles of play with the moveset, this is basic Ken and Ryu concept.
