I dunno if you had a GBA, but if not, don't forget you can get some of those games too^^ like Zelda: The Minish cap, that was fun.
as for actual DS games most people mentioned most of the good ones^^ if you like the harvest moon series I'd reccomend Rune Factory, it was fun^^ also Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Ring of Fates, and Contact was cool too. I'm sure there are even more, I just forget.
