It's pretty silly to think that just because one Mario movie was bad, all possible Mario movies would be bad.

People were also... 'skeptical' about Hyrule Warriors because of the unmentionable 3 CD-I games. People are just silly like that.

Well I´m not only basing this off the Mario Bros. Movie, there was also that Mario show and the widespread opinion that Video game Movies mostly suck. Do you honestly believe there can be a good (with plot/character development/arc of suspense) Mario movie? I mean without them changing Mario into another "person"?
Also sorry for being silly. I know I shouldn´t do these silly things like forming an opinion based on my experiences in the past.
EDIT: Could I be wrong and this turns out to be a Masterpiece, universally praised by both critics and viewers? Yes I could be, but chances are it won´t be a universally praised masterpiece
