To be honest Project Morpheus should’ve been bundled with PS4 from launch in order to obtain high commercial success and reach the bigger casual market. Though I think it could sell quite a lot of units (and "win" the VR race) if Sony includes it in a bundle and supports it in in all their big upcoming 1st party games:

Bend Studio’s new horror IP
God of War IV
Gran Turismo 7
Guerrilla Games' WRPG “Horizon” with Fallout New Vegas writer
Guerrilla Cambridge’s new game
London Studio’s new character action game
Media Molecule’s new IP
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
etc.

AND make sure that it’s supported in as many AAA/AA 3rd party PS4 games as possible (especially games with 1st person view are ideal):

Alien: Isolation (already supports VR)
Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
DayZ (already supports VR)
Dead Island 2
Destiny 2
Doom 4 (Doom 3 supports VR)
Dying Light (already supports VR)
Elite: Dangerous (already supports VR)
Everybody's Gone to the Rapture
EVE Valkyrie (already supports VR)
Evolve
Fallout 4
Far Cry 5
The Forest (already supports VR)
Just Cause 3
Kingdom Come: Deliverance (already supports VR)
Mirror’s Edge 2
No Man’s Sky
Project C.A.R.S. (already supports VR)
Rainbow Six: Siege
Silent Hills
SOMA
Star Citizen (already supports VR)
Star Wars: Battlefront
Titanfall 2
Unreal Tornament 4 (already supports VR)
War Thunder (already supports VR)
Wild
The Witness (already supports VR) etc.

Bundling Project Morpheus with PS4 would be a terrible idea. Would cost at least 700€.

No, I know that.

In the perfect world bundling Morpheus would be as cheap as it was for Nintendo to bundle Wii with remote, nunchuck, sensor bar and Wii Sports. This would be the most effective way to reach the mass market and avoid fracturing the user base.
