It's also a publisher/developer job to create a market for their games. Look at Soul series, it could've stayed on PS consoles but From Software is much more ambitious than that.

How do you know? We barely got past a year of X1's lifecycle.

In 2007 MS had a deal with Bioware and 2k Marin: exclusive ME and Bisohock.
