Worth noting is that for Wii U, I could see them announcing a world wide release of SMTxFE in December, but that's not too certain given the size of the project. Also, can I jsut say that the Wii U lineup in the second half actually looks to have a lot of potential? Especially with the way Mario Maker is shaping up. MM was looking to be a small fun title with lots of limits, but now looks really deep and interesting. The others are all middle weights historically (potential aside) or light weights (Fatal Frame and Devil's Third for sure), but the combination has potential. If Star Fox is 64-esque, the nostalgia alone will be a major boon to the Wii U. These factors plus a pricecut and a smart bundle or two could result in a pretty big second half. But I think the pricecut very much key to all this. |
No, SMTxFE was confirmed for 2016 in the west.
And I agree that the lineup has potential and a pretty solid mix of titles. Things like Xenoblade/Fatal Frame/Devil's Third for the "hardcore"/mature crowd, things like Yoshi/Mario Maker/Star Fox for the traditional Nintendo fan and kids/families.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
