Mario Kart boost didn't really happen until June due to it only being 2 days of May NPD and the boost for the most part had ended by July when it went back down to the 50-90k baseline that Wii U had from Jan-Oct, excluding June. Wii U only needs to average 72k/month to be up going into the holidays.

I'm not particularly worried about Wii U being down YoY. I'm fairly certain it will only happen in that period when MK8 launched and it will go up afterwards once the stream of releases hits. I just hope Nintendo has some sort of big seller for the holidays. An Animal Crossing would be perfect.

This, we know it'll be up YoY in Japan if SMTxFE hits on time even though its been doing badly, I suspect after XCX it'll be on an upward trend over there, Its up YoY in both US and Europe so it should be able to keep up. I'm trusting nintendo to do the smart thing an announce the splatoon bundle in a splatoon only direct 2-3 weeks before the game launches, that way they wont kill momentum they currently have and they give the bundle enough time to reach the general public.
