Between the extra Fatalities, dozens of Brutalities, and match modifiers locked up alongside costumes and art in the interactive Krypt, players should be prepared for a long grind before they can unlock the "entire" game.
If we had just one word to describe the new Mortal Kombat, that would be "excessive". The violence is always over the top (sometimes even a little bit too much so), and the various game modes and unlockables will keep you busy for quite a long time. A must-have for all the kombatants out there.
2 of the reviewers who had the easy to unlock everything versions of the game mention it would take quite a long time to get the "entire" game, now increase that long time x 33 before having access to all the game modes and you'll surely see why this isn't really doable without buying the dlc packs if you were going to include MKX at any kind of tounament where content would need to be open for use.
regarding reviewers game difficulty a lot of games don't have settings for them and I've very rarely seen reviews say "this game is great fun because it's so easy on the easy setting" but you do see the cost that you need to get to play a game pop up frequently recently seen it used against
when it was on sale on psn, a lot of low scores for the game there but a lot of them rate it harshly because of the games cost so of course the cost effects the score.
basically cost/value effects game review scores.
having an easy difficulty rarely does.
What is your point about reviewers playing games on easy?
