But again, ps fans didn't lose anything that day. they lost the FF quality but that wasn't because of it being multiplat.

read Outlawaron comment regarding exclusivity, above me, it's a common knowladge exclusivity bring benefit on developing games and cost budgeting, while sales is on another matter, dividing the fans is also bad.

Of course dividing the fans is bad, that's why the games should be multiplatform. this way, no one is left out.


We don't live in a perfect world and games being exclusive makes sense. It's one of the main ways, the consoles differentiate themselves from each other. If someone wants to play JRPG's they'll have to buy a ps4 or sit those games out.
