That and the Classic Controller, especially if they are doing something experimental with the gamepad. I think it just becomes more important to have those conventional controller options for when the gimmicks get old.
For example, I think Super Mario 3D World is a great game, but having to blow on/tap my gamepad mic for certain puzzles got old really fast. If I could just play those levels using my Classic Controller, the replay value would definitely go up for me.
