I'm a DC guy. Never really liked Marvel, except for the X-Men and Ironman comics during the 90s.

So yeah, I don't come from a place filled with "love for Marvel/MCU" when I conclude that Daredevil is actually a very good comic book TV adaptation.

I really don't see what's good about it. The plot so far (4 episodes) is very pedestrian and forgettable. Characters, other than Matt Murdock, are very flat. Fight choregraphy are worthy of TDKR (this is not a good thing). If not the love for Marvel and the MCU, then it must be the hype.

But then again, people like The Big Bang Theory, 2 Broke Girls or 2 and a half men so I suppose there is an audience for everything.
