ok.. mayby you have a point.. :)  And another would be that gaming companys need xxx amont of money for a game to make sense for them.. and this way they get some from the more casual players..

I'm just afraid this is an ever going slide.. and we will see alot more of "pay 2 some" if companys can, and especally if there is alot of people online suporting that way..  (also things you might wanna/need buy to)

Other companys wanna cash in to with "pay2some".. What comes next if we don't speak out loud and clear..  Don't you think if mortal X earns them alot of money.. and not hurting sales.. that they will make it even harder next time to do fatalities with out paying?

Oh it is a huge slippery slope for sure.  Thing is, I like to think that most devs and publishers are seeing it as such as well.

As far as MK goes I don't think they will modify how the game gets played in order to continue with additional revenue if they find success here.  If you look at MK9 they did the DLC character thing and that worked for them, now it is back.  Characters like Predator and Jason Vorhees and such will probably bring in a good bit of coin for them.  If the microtransactions work they will certainly be in MK11.  They may even evolve it to where you can pay a buck to get past a difficult opponent on the tournament ladder in single play or something.  I just can't fathom that they, or any other self-respecting fighting game creator, would make a pay-to-win environment out of their game.  Especially given the growing nature of gaming competitions worldwide.
