Well if he just borrowed them but doesn't have the "balls" to ask you, confront him and tell him to give it back, and just ask next time for them. But if he's really that desperate for cash and selling them or simply just stealing them because he doesn't want to pay for them, I'd just cut ties with him. I would have no interest in socializing with people like that, and quite frankly these people could be or become dangerous.
