The first trailer didn't really get me excited about Terminator genisys. Other than some time travel garbage, thematically, it looked more of the same stuff for the Terminator franchise. Although the spoiler gives away much more, this movie definitely seems to have elements that are much different from previous Terminator movies. My guess is that they didn't get very good feedback from the 1st trailer and hype for the new movie was not tracking well.
