I was the same; the first Bayonetta impressed me so much that I doubted the second could live up to such a high standard. Thankfully, my scepticism was misplaced, and I was blown away all over again.

I currently have similar concerns regarding Xenoblade Chronicles X; hope the same happens there too! ;)

True, I'm playing Xenoblade Chronicles right now and it's surpassing all my expectatives. It's so good that I'm a little sceptic about Xenoblade Chronicles X, but, for all we have seen, it looks even better! I hope we could play another masterpiece this year. I'm so jealous of japanese gamers right now... :(
