Can anyone provide Headset recommendations based on loudness of volume?

I use the Sony Playstation Pulse Elite headset for all my needs and it hasn't let me down.

I think for the price I paid (100$) it's a very good price/quality ratio. The way it is set, my PC is the hub for every pieces of hardware I have. So I can adjust the volume from there, and then on the headset itself. It's not necessarily the loudest, but when I have it on, I don't hear ambient sounds at all, so that's more that enough for me. There's also a discreet microphone on it, making it viable for online gaming sessions.

I don't know how come you've had issue with the build quality. Mine hasn't cracked yet, and I doubt it will any time soon. It's still in pristine condition even after all this time. When I got the headset, I wanted good sound quality at a good price, and a set that would allow me to use it with any pieces of hardware I have, or will get in the future. After looking at reviews, it became obvious to me that this headset was a no-brainer.
