The mobile Internet company’s investment vehicle has quietly backed more than 40 companies since launching in late 2013 and will focus on virtual reality and health care going forward, VentureWire has learned.

We want to get into virtual reality,” DeNA Venture Capital Group Principal James Riney said. “It’s a good fit for DeNA because obviously there’s the gaming angle.”
