What would have sold most? 3D World, Galaxy 3, or a Mario 64 successor?

Super Mario 64 made the N64 an stellar launch. And sold more than 10M.

And, haven't you said that MK8 and SSBU didn't change the situation? Then people didn't go to buy a Wii U, more like the same already established userbase.
