I wasn't thinking about the story, but elements in the Gameplay, like simple but yet not obvious questions that will reveal the outcome of the game,
Like:
What kind of weapons would you like to see in the sequal?
(type answer here)
What kind of crafting system would you prefer?
(type answer here)
it all depends on what game it really is.
Like the Order? Who is the best judge to judge what the game was missing, then the consumers?
So a third part company or writer, will create a survey that would allow us to be able to narrow down all the flawes in their previous game, so that they might know how to iron it out better on the next game. It sounds like it would be a messy survey, but if it's done right, and the options is done right, it sounds like something that could work. we don't need any input in the game at all, but we might be able to tell them that the werewolves fights was horrible repeatable, please don't do that again. It would be more like helping the devs, then to dictate how the game will become.
the Devs on H1Z1 did this, and it worked incredible well. They just opened a forum, and said: come with great ideas, and we will look through it and pick the ones that works.
