Fan feedback is loosely listened to at best, 3rd party demands don't concern them, competition and their agendas/console specs don't concern them, online networks are deliberately held back for their family image due to censorship (to protect the kids from online toxic behavior), core gamer centric marketing doesn't concern them. They literally just make what they and they alone feel is right and put it out there. That said, they still are responsible for making many timeless classics, but even current devotees of Nintendo have to see the flaws that come with the good. |
well said. I guess you could throw me in the devoted player, but you're right Nintendo does what they want to do, and i actually respect that, wish more businesses had that mentality along with some intent to be wholesome to a degree. With that as you said, Nintendo does have a flaws, but I'm starting to notice that they play "dumb" on purpose.
