I have to agree with that, I wouldn't call it dumb but it's not an easy tech for quite a few reasons.
I don't see much future in VR for gaming purposes except the occasional wow factor here & there. The effect of immersion is great, but it gets sickening quite quickly & it's not practical.
Doesn't help that you look like a total dork while playing games with it...
