For me, Nintendo is cool. Mario is cool, Link is cool, Splatoon is cool... "Cool" is a relative concept. If you mean "attractive to all the gamers" maybe not. I have met a lot of people who don't play Nintendo games because they are kiddie, and they are afraid of losing their "macho" image. More than you would think...
