Don Mattrick were asked what was his opinion about Facebook gaming requiring internet connection all the time, mainly talking about Mobile game over 4G. He was very passionate about it.

And when questioned about people without reliable internet. His answer? Was pure gold: "For them we have a product called mineswepper". He further added "No one complain that you can't use your cellphone without signal or eletronics without eletricity, why lack of 4G should be a concern?".

This started an uproar with fans and advocates of offline gaming, leading to severe loss for Zynga and Mattrick stepping down as CEO.

Don is back to Canadá with a dream. Making an always online Atari 2800 without cartridges.

Unless someone is playing Atari 2600 games on a Atari 2600 hooked up to a CRT TV, they aren't going to sound and play correctly. And let's not even get into the asectics of playing games from the 70's on a modern computer. It just wouldn't feel the same.
